PropFirmMonitor exists to make prop firm terms comparable and verifiable. This page explains where the data comes from, how it is kept current, and how the site is funded.

Source
Account rules, prices and payout terms come from firm help centres, policy pages and published pricing. Where a figure cannot be confirmed, we leave it blank rather than guess.

Normalise
Every firm describes rules differently. We map each account to the same fields (price, billing, target, max loss, drawdown model, split, payout limits) so they can be compared like for like.

Match offers
Discounts are attached at the level they apply: the whole firm, one plan, or specific sizes. Prices you see in tables already include them.

Monitor
We re-confirm rules and offers on a regular cadence and show when each firm’s details were confirmed. Expired or inactive offers are hidden automatically.

Compare fairly
We never call a price winner across different billing models, and value metrics such as price per $1K of drawdown are calculated, not editorialised.

One main official help center, FAQ, support or rules link per firm. Expand account-type sources for confirmed plan-specific pages, shared across account sizes. Where a plan page cannot be confirmed, use the firm’s general source. Source review dates cover links, not a fresh check of every rule.

Firms can pay only for clearly labelled partner placements, such as the featured offers on the homepage and offers page. They cannot buy a higher position anywhere else: the firm directory, challenge explorer, firm profiles, 1v1 Compare, Challenge Matcher, calculators and market report are ordered purely by the filters and sort you choose.
Commissions never change the data. Tables are sorted by the criteria you choose, value metrics are calculated the same way for every firm, and firms without an affiliate relationship are listed alongside those with one.
